a Joint Effort to Make a Difference
The series of 11 classes between Wednesday, September 7 and Wednesday, November 16, 2016, 9 - 10:30 am at the Senior Center. Super Noggin is an innovative brain fitness program for those who want to stay mentally sharp throughout life. This series of educational workshops will teach you about the lifestyle choices and activities you can do to maintain and even improve your brain health. The optional Super Noggin Notebook (cost is $10 each) will provide you with a year’s worth of recommended exercises to keep your mind fit. You can also track your progress on a personal chart. Materials are provided. 450 Acoma Blvd South, Classes are free and independent of each other. Register early at 928-453-0715.
You are encouraged to attend ONE of the sessions to learn Hands-Only CPR and the signs and symptoms of a heart attack. Held at the HRMC Learning Centre, 1785 McCulloch Blvd. (across from K-Mart and next to Havasu Surgery Center, entrance in the back). This course is FREE to the community. This is not a card-earning course. Monthly on Thursdays, 6 pm to 7 pm: Thursdays. Reservations are not required. Download a schedule here.
