Student Assistance Program ( S.A.P.)
The Student Assistance Program is a comprehensive, school-based program designed to
- INCREASE PROTECTIVE FACTORS
- REDUCE RISK FACTORS AND
- AND FOSTER RESILIENCE
SAP can help with your child’s struggle
Excessive worry or anxiety
- Changes in school performance
- Changes in environment, home or school
- Emotional outbursts/sadness
- Defying authority, home or school
- Withdrawing from family, friends, or activities
- Other behavioral issues
- Death of a loved one

BECOME A SAP FACILITATOR
You can be trained to lead a group of students ! The commitment is about 60 minutes a week.
SUPPORT A CHILD - DONATE !
$80.00, Covers the cost of one child in a SAP Group for one session (8 weeks). Make a donation here.
Contributions to SAP
The Student Assistance Program, under the HCHF umbrella, qualify for an Arizona State Tax Credit. Submit a tax credit contribution here.
SAP is funded by Havasu Community Health Foundation, Lake Havasu Unified School District, and River Cities United Way.
