Havasu Health Walk Challenge
Cherish Hernandez is our walker for December. She is 16 years young and is a junior at Havasu High School. She takes college classes for culinary arts, is in 4 clubs where she is Vice President of 2.   She moved to Havasu 8 years ago from Springerville in the Arizona White Mountains.  She works at a new restaurant called Fiesta Mexicana.  
Cherish takes weight training classes at school, goes to Titan Gym and the Arizona Coast Performing Arts after school.  She takes 3 dance classes for four hours out of the week.  She likes to switch up her workouts between lifting weights, toning and cardio.
Cherish loves the idea of creating a healthy body for herself and likes to motivate others to do the same.  She says it’s a wonderful way to get outdoors and see nature’s beauty.  She says you have to push yourself to keep getting better each and every day. 
Cherish says there are always challenges but you need to strive for your own improvement.  She says you have to start at the bottom to reach the top.  So even you are beginning and at the bottom, push yourself to get to the top and
