Memory Screenings

Our short memory screening is a test that you cannot fail.  The test is merely a tool that checks the amount of memory you have at this time.  It can be a prompt for further medical attention or serve as a benchmark in the case of future memory deterioration.  The Saint Louis University Mental Status (SLUMS) exam has the advantage of detecting early dementia symptoms.  This can be of significance as early detection can allow for treatment and symptom management to begin sooner.

Screenings are conducted at the Havasu Community Health Foundation office by appointment only.  Call 928-453-8190 to schedule your screening or for more information.
